Harley Park is one of the greatest parks on the Gold Coast. The park offers views of Magical Broadwater, a fantastic ship themed children's playground and heaps of shady picnic tables. Because of its very satisfying facilities, this makes Harley Park the most popular park for residents. Don't forget to bring a picnic rug and relax under the shade trees in this park. Here you will find two playgrounds. First, a marine-themed playground to the south and the second is a playground inspired by climbing with poles, ropes, stairs, and flying fox. Children will be able to enjoy playing in the park with two different options. Harley Park is a family recreation area that provides fun and activities for all ages. Enjoy the beautiful Gold Coast outdoor weather!

Gold Coast Hockey Centre

The Gold Coast Hockey Center provides world-class Hockey facilities for the Gold Coast and Queensland Hockey communities. The rebuilding of the venue was deliberately designed to meet the integration of elite and community use by providing new and more improved infrastructure. It aims to support the development of Hockey on the Gold Coast and create opportunities for future training camps for large competitions. There are also Clubhouses here that have facilities:
  • Change rooms and amenities
  • Meeting rooms and office space
  • First Aid Room
  • Central atrium
  • and several other additional facilities

Pelican Feeding

Feeding pelicans at Labrador is an interesting experience to connect with nature. You are advised to arrive a little early to see hundreds of pelicans entering across the Ian Dipple Lagoon who then make the landing behind Charis Seafoods. Be sure not to block the sand area to the beach because it is a pelican landing pad. Usually, visitors will be directed to stand in U-shape along the road at the back of the shop and on the sides and keep the coastline clean. Hundreds of pelicans will appear and they will need space to gather and mingle with their other friends. Pelicans are really big birds if you meet up close. The flutter of pelican wings can be a little scary for small children, so be sure to keep your distance to make room for the bird. You can also take a walk on the sand and take good photos.
